Accommodation and experience products
Learn the difference between Experience and Accommodation products.
Easol supports two product types:
- Experience — for products that take place on one or more scheduled dates, such as retreats, festivals, classes, tours, or events.
- Accommodation — for products where customers choose their own check-in and check-out dates, such as hotels, cabins, or glamping stays.
The key difference is that Accommodation products support Daily Availability & Pricing.
This feature allows creators to:
- Define availability on a day-by-day basis.
- Set nightly pricing.
- Allow customers to select check-in and check-out dates.
- Configure booking rules such as minimum or maximum stay lengths.
Choose the product type that best matches how customers book the product, as this determines the availability and booking options available throughout Easol.
