Customer terms
Customer terms pages are automatically generated from the creator's company settings.
Creators can configure their legal policies in their company settings.
Easol automatically generates dedicated pages for these policies, which are linked from the checkout experience.
Generated pages
| Page | URL |
|---|---|
| Payment Plan Terms | /terms/payment_plan_terms |
| Terms and Conditions | /terms/terms_and_conditions |
| Privacy Policy | /terms/privacy_policy |
These pages are generated automatically and require no theme implementation.
Customising the appearance
The HTML structure of the terms pages cannot be modified.
However, the pages inherit your theme's global styles from index.css.
To apply styles only to the terms pages, scope your CSS using the .terms-page helper class.
.terms-page h1 {
margin-bottom: 2rem;
}
.terms-page a {
text-decoration: underline;
}Developer considerations
When styling the terms pages:
- Use the
.terms-pageclass to scope page-specific styles. - Avoid relying on the internal HTML structure, as it is managed by Easol.
- Test styles against all three generated pages to ensure they remain readable and accessible.
- Remember that these pages are linked from checkout, so they should remain consistent with the rest of the site's branding.
