Carts
Display and manage the customer's cart and booking flow.
Easol provides a built-in cart system that themes can integrate throughout a site.
The recommended approach is to build booking experiences using Easol's booking blocks, which allow customers to browse products and complete bookings directly within site pages.
This section covers:
- Cart display — displaying the customer's current cart.
- Cart interactions — adding, updating, and removing items from the cart.
- Cart shop — the legacy standalone booking page.
The standalone Shop page (/shop/product-slug) is still supported for existing themes, but it is no longer
the recommended booking experience. New themes should use booking blocks within site pages instead. Only the Alchemist theme
supports the deprecated cart shop natively.
