Package step item

A bookable variant on a package step product. Access via package_step_product.items.

Properties

available_slots_for_selection

Experience slots the customer can choose from when Package::Step::ItemDrop#requires_slot_selection is true. Includes only slots with sufficient stock for the package booking's guest count. For exactly-match and closest-match strategies, returns at most one slot; for range strategies, returns all in-range slots with stock.

Returns: Array (ExperienceSlotDrop) — empty when no start date has been chosen, when no applicable slots have stock, or when the item does not use a range strategy and no slot matches.

The item's unique identifier.

Returns: String — a UUID.

requires_slot_selection

Whether the customer must choose a slot before adding this item to the cart. true when the item uses a range slot selection strategy.

Returns: Boolean

variant

The variant for this step item. On multi-date experience steps, returns a slot-scoped ExperienceVariantDrop or ExtraDrop using the matched or cheapest in-range slot; on accommodation steps, returns the variant's default drop.

Returns: ExperienceVariantDrop or ExtraDrop or AccommodationVariantDrop or VariantDrop
