Package product search query

Safe-listed ?search query parameters for package booking step product search. Similar to SearchQueryDrop, but permitted keys come from the company's tag categories rather than a fixed list. Injected as the search assign on package booking step pages when a ?search parameter is present; unlike SearchQueryDrop, it is not added automatically by Site::Renderer.

Also permits star_rating, occupancy, occupancy_match, start_date, end_date, and sort. Unrecognised keys are ignored. Tag categories from sibling companies in an organisation are included.

search_params

The permitted search parameters from the URL.

Returns: ActionController::Parameters — keys are tag category names and the built-in filters listed on the class. Used by PackageStepProductSearchTag; in templates, read values from the search assign instead (e.g. search.sort or search["Star rating"]).
