Retrieve a booking
Retrieves a booking by its prefixed ID (e.g. bk_mR2nL5pW) or
human-readable booking reference (e.g. SWG-4829). The prefixed ID is
the canonical identifier; the reference is accepted as a convenience
for flows where the customer enters the reference manually (e.g. kiosk
check-in).
Booking apps can retrieve stay and occupancy details from line_items.data,
including when no stock hold was taken. Match the requested line item by
id; its variant_id identifies the booked variant. For accommodation,
start_date and end_date are the check-in and checkout dates, and
guest_count is the total number of guest places on the line, already
accounting for quantity. Customer and guest details are returned when collected;
match guests to their line item using line_item_id.
